Since launch we’ve had the same handful of questions come up again and again — from clients weighing us up and from agencies thinking about joining the panel. Here are the five we hear most, answered plainly.
What does Innov-8 actually do?
We’re a panel management platform for UK field services. We sit between clients and specialist field agencies, managing allocation, performance and compliance on the client’s behalf.
Instead of juggling spreadsheets, email chains and a patchwork of agency relationships, you get one platform that handles the work end to end — who does what, how well they did it, and the evidence to prove it. One platform, built for collaboration, designed for simplicity.
Do you have your own field agents?
No — we’re a technology platform, not a field agency. We orchestrate the work; the visits themselves are carried out by specialist agencies on the panel.
From launch we’re already operating with 6 specialist field agencies across several sectors, with a combined base of over 500 field operatives. More agencies are joining throughout the second half of 2026 as we grow our client base. We’re just getting started.
Can we choose which agencies we work with?
Absolutely. Not every service suits a multi-agency model, so the platform is flexible by design. Some services work best with a single, dedicated agency relationship; others benefit from our champion/challenger allocation model, where agencies compete for a greater share of the work based on performance.
The choice is always the client’s — we’ll recommend what fits, but you decide.
Do your field agencies use body cameras?
Some do — it depends entirely on the service. Residential energy warrants are executed under Ofgem’s code of practice, which includes body-worn video. For lower-risk services, audio recording of customer engagements is standard.
Our approach is always proportionate to the service: the right level of evidence and protection for the work being done, no more and no less.
Is there a set-up fee or minimum volume commitment?
No. Our platform is accessible from day one — no set-up fees for established services and no minimum volumes. Clients contract with us, but we keep it simple: easy to onboard, easy to work with.
